TAIZE Community

A 1/2 hour presentation of the Ecumenical Community called TAIZE. This Community founded by Fr. Roger in Taize France in the 40's, is a group of men from various denominations of Christian religions and whose ministries are to young people and the poor throughout the world is both timely and spiritually moving.

That Little Springtime VCR lasts 30 minutes, followed by group discussion and music from the TAIZE Community.

Friends VCR lasts 30 minutes. The Pope visits the TAIZE Community and spends time with the Brothers and the pilgrims who are there in prayer and song. A very moving experience of faith and a sharing of religious traditions. Music & discussion follow.

Marian Apparitions of Our Times
Recent apparitions of Mary in various regions of the world in which She calls humankind back to the Gospel Life, Prayer and to Follow Jesus with fervent ideals.

Her message in this 1 hour presentation is one of urgency, filled with appeal to all who believe in Jesus.

The first part of this presentation is the 1 hour tape, followed by discussion and recitation of the rosary. This presentation is for those who have a devotion to Mary and for those who are trying to understand Her role in the Church, The Gospel and the Message She brings from Heaven reaffirming a call to follow Jesus.

As we approach the third millenium, the messages she gives are those of hope, caution and warning of what is to come.

A Call to Serve Christ
A two hour presentation for those both young and the not so young who feel a call to serve Christ in some profound way and for those who may have a call to serve Christ but still live their daily lives living and working inthe world, yet belonging to Community dedicated to prayer, good works, parish ministry, and vows.

A discussion by members of three religious Communities in the Hartford area will be both eye opening and appealing to those who sense a more deeper call to spirituality in their daily lives, and to hear from those who live a call to serve Christ in Community but yet still in the world.

Informative presentation on new and emerging Roman Catholic Communities whose goals are founded on simple terms for the laity to become more active in and a part of religious life in daily living. Living the Gospel life, following Jesus, and prayer that is offered three times a day, vows, etc..
