CALLED TO SERVE CHRIST

Incensing The Gospel reading: The Word Of God

Jesus says, "Come follow me". How does one in today's world follow Christ? The human condition in today's world has taken most away from the thoughts of ever serving the Church or in most cases of ever thinking of becoming a priest, brother, monk or a nun. When the world and its material attractions make us become more and more committed to a life of no prayer, no inner thoughts of God and giving of our time to let God speak to our hearts, there seems to be a continuous lessoning of our being in touch with the God who made us, loves us and seeks us to acknowledge Him. LISTEN, to the call of Jesus the Christ in your life! Do not let another day go by that you do not respond. Jesus waits for YOU

"If At First You Hear His Call, Harden Not Your Heart""

Oh God You prepare a dwelling in Heaven for Those who renounce this world, enrich the earthly Home of this holy assembly with your heavenly gifts' May your servant preserve true brotherhood in the bond of true love, and serenely keep your precepts of continence: may he be sober, simple and peaceful and ever acknowledge that grace has come to him as a free gift.

May his life be in harmony with his calling and his profession be apparent in his works.
